WIFI availableByre Cottage is a charming, spacious, pet friendly, detached period holiday cottage in Langham, North Norfolk. The cottage, sleeps 6.

The spacious accommodation with central heating and two wood burning stoves comprises: entrance door to double height L shaped hall with original wooden flooring, bookcase, oak settle and rugs; stairs to first floor;

Off the hall is a shower room with tiled floor, shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC; from the hall there is a utility room with tiled floor, Bosch washing machine, Creda drier, butlers sink and a hanging clothes airer; door to spacious, double height garden room with double doors opening to the sunny rear courtyard. This spacious and light room has original wooden flooring,  exposed beams and white washed flint walls, a wood burning stove, bookcase, tables and lamps, three sofas (one of which is a sofa bed for occasional use).

From the entrance hall: door to kitchen/diner with original wooden flooring. Dining table and chairs seating 8. Fully fitted kitchen with one and a half sink, Bosch fridge freezer, Bosch double oven built in cooker and hob, built in microwave and Bosch dishwasher: stable door to courtyard garden.

From the kitchen door to large and sunny sitting room with wood burning stove, flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player and book cases.  Three sofas and occasional chairs, coffee table and rugs.

Upstairs

From the entrance hall stairs to the first floor landing which runs the length of the house,  built in cupboard/wardrobe for bedroom 2, from the landing there are distant sea views to Morston and the coast; From the landing Bedroom 1, bright and sunny with king size four poster bed, fitted wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers: bedroom 2, king size four poster bed, bedside tables with lamps, wash stand and chest of drawers; Bedroom 3, double bed, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobe and distant views to the coast at Morston; Family bathroom with bath and hand held shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside

From North Street, double entrance gate to gravelled drive, parking for 3 cars, part walled garden with lawn and shrubs. This area overlooks a post and railed paddock.

To the side and rear of the cottage is an attractive, sunny walled courtyard garden facing south/east, paved with climbers, borders, garden benches and table.  This area is secure for pets.

Langham

Langham is an attractive village in North Norfolk, just inland from Morston and Blakeney and close to the market town of Holt. This beautiful and unspoilt area lies within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The quiet lanes around the village are perfect for cycling and walking, with a good choice of walks in the immediate area. The village pub ‘The Bluebell’ is now re-opened and offers Sunday lunch and an interesting menu during the week.

Morston Quay, north NorfolkThere is lots to do locally with sailing at Morston and Blakeney, trips to see the seals at Blakeney Point from Morston, crabbing in Blakeney, tennis and swimming.

There are several good eateries close by including The Anchor at Morston and The Wiveton Café.

For shoppers the market town of Holt is a just a few miles away offering a wide range of shops, galleries, cafes, antique shops and places to eat. There is also an excellent farm shop at Letheringsett, Back to The Garden and a smokery and deli at Cley-next-the Sea.
